My SAD Alarm Clock hadn't even gone off this morning but the simulated sunrise had already got my brain producing serotonin and I was up at 4:50 am before my 5 am alarm went off.
I took this pic later on in the morning just to show you my clock, in case you are wondering why the time says 8:03am lol.
Did my morning routine from 5am-6am and didn't check my phone for that first hour which is now becoming a habit for the better.
Had my coffee then started to deal with all the notifications and emails on my phone that have come through since last night.
Fed the dogs and also saw the snow that had fallen overnight. The Weather is just very odd at the moment. We had glorious sun and it was too warm to take the dogs to work with me only a few days ago and now it's snowing and freezing. If this is what global warming is doing to the world then future generations are gonna have some seriously messed up seasons.
I have agreed to do a 30 day Yoga Challenge with Layla as she has done it a few times but never completed it. I, on the other hand, have NEVER done Yoga and it's something in my book of stuff to do, so thought why not.
I am probably the most unfit, unflexible, and unhealthy version of myself right now so let's see if this helps. We have greed 7am every morning in an aim to be consistent, so even at weekends rather than keep swapping and changing times.
After completing the first session it definitely stretches out all the muscles you probably don't stretch day to day and I'm hoping that I will feel more flexible by the end of the 30 days.
Well by the time I had finished my Yoga, the weather had done a complete 180 and brightened right up.
Spent the rest of the day catching up on admin and making calls to book Christmas appointments. Yes, it might be spring but I'm already doing my orders for Christmas deliveries.
Before I could blink most of the day had flown by and it was time to get ready to go to Eddie's wing ceremony as he had successfully completed his 4 weeks of training for Jet2 Cabin Crew and was officially getting his wings. I never doubted he would pass as he always puts a lot of pressure on himself with any kind of test and puts in all the hours to ensure he knows it inside out.
Have to say it was a really proud moment and myself, Jeanie and her sister, and Eddie's sister Margaret and partner all felt really privileged to be asked to attend. The trainers gave really nice speeches and one even wrote a poem about them all and the other compiled a video of all their highlights. Everyone seemed really emotional it was lovely.
Oh and to top off the night off #Jet2 very kindly gave all those that attended a voucher so they could see their loved one in action once they are in the sky. :-)
