Okay so I started my day up and at it, getting everything upstairs ready to put away in the loft once I get my ladders back. Tidied up and mopped with my new Tineco vaccum mop thingy, which I love. I don't think I've ever mopped so often. I love the fact that you mop with clean water and all the dirty water goes into a separate tank. I've probably mopped 4 times this week already and still the water is filthy, which makes me realise just how regular mopping doesn't really clean the floor just pushes dirt around. It also doesn't leave the floor soaking wet and is dry in minutes.
Also it self propells forward when you switch on in auto mode so you just let it go forward without effort then gently pull back. Great for someone with mobility issues too as doesn't need a lot of pushing.
If you love a clean floor but hate traditonal mopping, check them out HERE
After a quick coffee I headed down to mums to drop Bella off while I went for my 9 in 1 facial at Cryologic wih Faith. She is brilliant and it's like a next level facial compared to previous ones I've had. I always feel great knowing she has deep cleaned my face and all the dirt that might have built up from holiday using sun creams etc has all been cleaned out of my pores. Defo check her out on instagram but she gets pretty booked up.
After my treatment I went to mums and we packed away all her Christmas decs. I had done some laminaed labels for her boxes so that we know what's in them when we come to put the tree up next time. Less stressful when you know where everything is instead of draggin boxes out that you don't need.
I don't know what has clicked inside my brain but I just feel like I want to get the most out of my life and take every opportunity that comes my way!
Yesterday I finished off knitting the throw for my bed that I started last year. It's one of them things as usual where I obsess over something for about 2 weeks (if I'm lucky) then tire or it and push it to one side. I did make a conscious decision though that I would start getting lots of half-finished projects done this year. So that's one done! It wasn't prefect as I dropped quite a few stitches at the start while I was learning but for my first ever time knitting I don't think I did too bad. Glad it's done though as it was quite big. Next time I will maybe do a scarf so it's narrow and I can fly through it a lot faster.
I had no sooner put down the knitting needles and I decided I needed a new challenge so I downloaded the couch to 5k app ready to start it tomorrow. It fits in well with my fitness journey so helps me achieve my bigger goal of weight loss and getting in shape.
I would have done my first run as soon as I had downloaded it but I had already started making dinner and didn't think going for a run straight after food would be a good idea.
So tomorrow is Sunday and I am going to get up early and get my first run done as I also have a morning walk booked in with Lynne at 11:30am so want to get this done first so the walk will seem like a breeze. I should pretty much have smashed my steps goal for the day, before lunch. Perfect!
