We woke up really early before the sun had even started to come up. It was a bit chilly first thing in the morning so I stayed under the duvet and typed u my blog from yesterday so I didn't end up getting behind. Once the sun started to come up we threw on our coats and crocks (I've borrowed Ben's lol) and went outside to capture some pics of the sunrise.
After we took a few more pics we decided to head back to Sharron's as she wanted to make us both eggs benedict and had forgotten the smoked salmon. I got a few okay ones and then we manged to get one of us both individually before the sun came fully up.
The Clearest picture I got of the tones was as we were hurtling past at speed, from inside the van with my phone hanging out the window. Typical eh, you camp all night nearby to get the best pic and then snatch one when you are driving home lol.
The drive back was lovely and sunny and she took me to see where she works at Dyson. When we got back to Sharrons she made the nicest Eggs Benedict I've ever had. It knocked spots of some of the nicest hotels I've been to. It was gorgeous.
We originally planned to go to Bath for the afternoon but by the time we had eaten I think we were both more in the mood to just chill and watch a movie. So I made Sharron sit through Dear Evan Hanson. If you haven't seen it OMG you have to watch it. I was a blubbering mess AGAIN even though I know the story. I was hoping it would make Sharron tear up my no joy lol. If you want a good emotional watch give this movie a try. My only regret is that I only found out about it the week before it closed in the Westend :-( If it ever tours in the UK I'm going watching the show with a box of tissues lol. Wait, that could have sounded a bit odd lol.
After the movie, it was time to pack up and get ready to head to the train station.
Before leaving Kemble I thought I would grab a few last pics as the sun was setting.
I boarded my first train, got comfy and ready to read my book, and then a young girl sat on the chair diagonal with me who looked like she had just finished work as he had a name badge and lanyard on. As soon as she sat down, she began scrolling through her social media WITH THE SOUND ON so everyone around could hear all the videos, music etc. Needless to say, I couldn't read as I kept finding myself reading the same but over and over as I failed to take it in. I was seething inside but in typical Brit style just sat there and said nothing. As I left the train to catch my next connection I saw said girl pushing along the drinks trolly! It's annoying enough a passenger sitting blarting out her phone never mind a member of staff. I would have loved to tap her on the shoulder and say "FYI we don't ALL want to listen to your phone, maybe have some consideration on the next train". Instead, I just walked past throwing my best filthy look lol.
On the final train back to Manchester I made my way to my pre-booked seat with a table and PowerPoint only to find some 16/17 year old girl sat in it. Asked he if I could get in my seat to which she huffed and puffed and moved into another seat she probably hadn't booked, across from me. Settled in to read my book again and then immediately noticed she had headphones in and talked to the same person on the phone for 1 hour and 40 minutes!!!! I was already still wound up by my previous journey so was really not in the mood to listen to this girls every thought. If she said "I'm not gonna lie" once she said it about 200 times. At one point I just said out loud, "I think we can establish you're not gonna lie!" about an hour into the call I said to the woman across the aisle "I feel like I'm in this relationship with her". The woman laughed and rolled her eyes as could clearly also hear everything. She heard me and tried whispering to the girl on the other end of the phone about me. I really wasn't arsed about what she thought and took pleasure in giving her the V's when she tried to covertly take my pic lol.
At the end of the journey, I made an exit early to the corridor where the doors are. SHE ONLY CAME TOO. Instead of waiting for us to arrive at the station. Was she actually taking the p1ss? I tried to be all Zen but it's so hard when it feels like Chinese water torture and is constant for almost 2 hours! I think even Bhudah would have gripped her by the throat by the end of the train journey. I am going to have to start speaking up more instead of getting all frustrated and just putting up with stuff. Watch this space! lol
