Had a busy day of appointments today and the weather stayed dry which always helps. Started off at Stringers in Lytham which is a good account and presented to them the 2023 Giftwrap collection including bags, wrap and tissue etc, They had dipped their toe in the water this year but a lot of the more popular designs had sold out by the time I got an appointment with the buyer. This time it was one of my first appointments for the new ranges and she loved lots of the new designs. I always like it when products are a hit with buyers as you know it's going to be an easy sell-in.
Bella came with me to work and she seems to be getting used to sitting in the front seat now in her new bed as she was always in the back with Bonnie in the past. I wanted to give her a change of scenery so it doesn't feel like she is in the back on her own suddenly. I took her out for a walk along the seafront after my appointment.
The next appointment was in Scorton at a large account that has grown into a destination as it now has a large restaurant, plants section, and huge gift area. She loved the new Giftwrap and I also opened an account for them with Caroline Gardner for the new home and pet gifts launching in January.
After a nice productive day I treated myself to a fillet steak with veg, potatoes, and peppercorn sauce for dinner (homecooked obviously). After dinner, I had a wee play on the PS4 with Fiona. It's been ages since we had a game but with the winter dark nights coming we tend to play more online together. It's also a nice way to keep in contact and feel like I've got company even though I'm home alone as we both use headsets to talk to each other.
We played call of Duty Warzone 2 and tried to play The Quarry, but the "multiplayer" was a joke as you could literally just watch the gameplay and vote on decisions. So if you are thinking of buying this to play online with friends, don't bother! I'll give it a go on my own to see what the game itself is like but very disappointed that we can't play it together online as it looked like it could be a good game. If anyone plays warzone and wants to add me my handle is littledumplin69 :-)
Got a phone call from the course enforcement people to say that the first payment ash made (less their fees) would hit muy account tomorrow - £96. He had originally agreed to pay £300 a month and the first payment was due 15th Nov. He has already come back to them to say he can't afford that and can pay £200 on the 1st December. We shall see if he keeps up with that payment next.
Felt like the first good day in a few days today so I went to bed feeling less stressed and didn't have so much running around my head.
All good news then, pity about the last bit but hey its something. xx
