So tomorrow I begin my trip to Bali. I don't actually fly until Friday but I am flying from Heathrow so will be getting the train to Euston, then Layla is picking me up so I can stay at hers tomorrow night ready to head over to the airport together.
We checked in for our flights but because Layla is going for a month and I'm going for 17 days we had to do two separate bookings, so go allocated seats nowhere near each other. So we are either going to spend 17 hours sitting next to strangers (I actually don't mind as it's all part of the experience getting to know someone else and a bit about their life etc) OR we might get a friendly check-in agent who takes pitty on us and sits us together. I know what my money is on lol.
Kath came round and cut my hair for me ready for my hols. She did it a bit shorter this time so it will last me the full 17 days without getting too long. I'm going to be in and out of the water a lot so it will be easier if it doesn't need anything done to it and just falls how it needs to. I won't be packing my curling tongs and straighteners lol.
She also did me a mind massage while she was there. It's kind of a clear-out for the brain as we store so much useless info in our subconscious that we aren't even aware of. I had about 25-minute hypnosis which it's like having 4 hours of sleep. I felt refreshed afterward and lighter. We often make time for facial and back massages etc, but rarely take the time out to look after our mental health. I like doing different things that help to improve you from the inside.
It's been a while since I went on a holiday longer than 7 days so 17 days is going to be a nice break.
Sounds fab Neil...enjoy!! I want to know more about the mind massage when you are back...very interesting! Xxx Julie
