Had a morning trim off mi pal Kath so I feel a bit more human now. I still find it hard to get into the routine of having a regular haircut or having to style my hair. Most days I literally wash it, towel it dry and the quickly throw my fingers through it to put it where it's meant to be, then forget to do anything else lol.
Arrived at the blood donation centre, which was being held at Dunamis Christian Church and was about 30 minutes early. I had brought a book but thought it better to be early than late as I'm guessing everyone had a slot. The lady who greeted me explained they were still setting up so could I wait outside. The same must have been asked of the two men who followed me a few minutes later. Not very Christian I thought. So I was sat in my freezing cold car reading my book. Surely it would have been more hospitable to just ask us to take a seat until they were ready?
Anyway, after the false start went in, completed the form asking 6000 questions. If I'd had sex with anybody that could have X, Y and Z. I couldn't find the box that said, "The TV channels were still in black and white the last time I had sex", so just ticked NO to all.
Anyway, after all that heavy-handed Harry who tried to put the needle in and hurt like a bitch, had to abandon ship cos he said it started bruising straight away. I wanted to say "Well if someone stabbed you with a javelin you might bruise too" But instead, I smiled, grabbed a bag of crisp and a club biscuit, and off I went. Oh I wonder where I put that club biscuit, I don't remember eating it?
Rest of the day was blah blah blah so that's yer lot for Wednesday really.
Oh, I had a Sleep Tea before bed. Can't recommend them enough I sleep like a baby after one of these bad boys.
