Up early to take the dogs to the groomers and then drop them off at mums. It always seems to work out that on the day that they get groomed I'm going out somewhere and mum gets them all clean and fresh to dog sit for me. But the time they come back. tome they aren't all groomers fresh smelling :-/
Me and Mike got a lift off Adele to Derker and then we both got the tram into town to meet The First Choice IT guys. We started off at a pub in the Northern Quarter. The bars all had outside seating and everywhere was busy cos of the nice weather. I wasn't sure whether or not to wear shorts but I'm glad I did cos it was roasting. We luckily had booked a table at the first pub indoors so we were in the shade for a bit out of the sun.
After an hour in the pub we headed over to a Spanish restaurant for some tapas. The food was really nice, but I am useless at carrying on drinking once my stomach is full.
After the tapas we had a couple more drinks in the Northern quarter but I couldn't face any more drinks after all that food so Me and Mike got the tram home at 10pm and I was tucked up in bed by 11:30 :-) I'm a lightweight these days lol.
It was great catching up with the guys, it's always like we saw each other last week and we just pick up where we left off.
