Got dressed in the dark so as not to completely wake up the dogs at 5am, only to find I'd put my boxers on backward. I didn't know if I was coming or going.
Morning routine, followed by coffee and Weetabix, only to find later that this was a mistake when you have yoga at 7am :-/
I would like to say it felt easier today, but it didn't. The only thing that was easier is the fact I knew what she was talking about when she said 'downward dog', still wasn't any easier to actually do it though. There was one move I quite liked called the corpse, that's my kinda yoga, lay on the floor like her dead.
After Yoga I did my assignment for vVardis which is coming to an end soon. I need to test the products for one week. the products look great before you even uxe them. If you'd like to read my review and also get a discount code check out my review below:-
I also created a logo for my blog which I can use on the pages but also will appear as a small icon on the browser tab. All this and it wasn't even 8am.
Took mum to the hospital as she needs to have 2 scans, one to check on the site of her cancer to make sure nothing has come back, and another to see if she has kidney stones still. Taking mum anywhere is like taking a child to the park "I think I've left my bag in the house", "have you seen my phone". So we now had to add on an extra 15 minutes to any journey whilst we play hide and seek with anything mum should have with her.
After picking mum up again and taking her home it was time for work. Today was my admin day as I had no appointments booked in. Had a really productive day as managed to put a wash in when I took a break for lunch and tidied the junk drawer in the lounge that has been annoying me for AGES. It's now all organised into sections. I should have taken a BEFORE pic but I always forget until I've done it lol. It's all these little things that have always had a negative impact on my mental health, and it's surprising the stress release you get when you tick one of these jobs off your list. Also when you are looking for something and it has a specific place, it makes your like much more peaceful as you know exactly where to find it.
Started watching The Home Edit Season 2 after work last night and it's given me another boost to get stuff organised. They have some brilliant stuff. One of the presenters has even used her own handwriting as a font because it's so neat. I checked out their website to see how much they are....$7 for one sticker!!! Jeepers Creepers you'd need to take out a new mortgage to label up all the stuff in your house. Luckily for me I have a label printer, not half as fancy as her font but hey it does the trick. Maybe one day when money is no object :-)
