South Carolina - Day 9

Happy Independence Day !!!

Cindy came for us in the morning to take us back to Sandy & Lesleys as everyone was going to spend the day their for the 4th of July. When we got there most people had already arrived. It felt like I had come home when I got to Cousin Lesleys as I knew where my room was and also knew everybody that was there from meeting everyone previously. Lesley had put a lot of effort into decorating the house and making lots of food for everyone. Sandy had BBQ's lots of chicken breast and glazed the in a really nice sweet sauce.

It was really hot so we all had a swim in the pool, including Lucas's dog Mella. She had special shoes for the pool so that she didn't scratch the liner and seemed to love getting in and out the pool. I could definitely get used to this life, being able to swim in the pool whenever you want to and spending time with family for reasons other than weddings and funerals.

I will be really sad to leave but at the same time I have really missed Bella and can't wait to see her again. I will also be busy when I get home as I have lots of parcels from Tiktok to open and film reviews for. Sad as it sounds I am also looking forward to being able to get back into a routine of content creating again for Tiktok. I think I was made for this kind of thing as it's everything I like, trying new things, recording content for social media and also being able to work from anywhere I have a phone and wifi.

After we dried off and the sun was going in a bit we had a game of cards. It was a game I hadn't played before but soon got the hang of it. I then had a go of Alexander's VR headset. I played a short game of resident evil and then dig rock climbing, which was very realistic. Sandy has played resident evil which I think is really cool as you would normally not expect your dad to be into video games let alone VR ones.

Early night to bed (around 9:30pm) so I can be up and ready to leave in the morning.
