We went for a ride out to Publix food store to get supplies for the trip to the lake. I just love seeing all the different food they have in the US that we don't have. I bought a bunch of America Candy to take back home to share with Kirsty and my mum as we all have a sweet tooth and like trying new things.
When we got back I went for a walk along Lesley’s street to the end and back while I was video-calling my mum so she could see the area. It’s a lovely area the houses are really far apart and unique in their design. It's nothing like the streets in the UK all squished up and joined together like terraced houses.
Around 3pm Chelsea and Lucas, her fiancé came to pick me up to take me to the indoor wall climbing. It was a 2 hour drive in Charleston, but Chelsea does this trip often as she has many friends in Charleston and is used to it.
I had to do a quick orientation at the climbing place then, once I had done that, I could climb with Chelsea, Lucas and Aaron who were all trained with the rope side of things.
After the climbing wall we walked over to a Tacco place for some dinner. I hadn't had real tacco's before only the packet-bought Old El Passo ones you make yourself with the crisp shells. I opted for a Buffalow wing one and also a sweet chilli shrimp one. They call big prawns shrimp, where I always think of the little prawns as shrimp.
The drive back seemed to fly by as I drifted in and out of napping so before I knew it we were back home.
Chatted with Aunty Join and Lesley for a bit then hit the hay as I was goosed.
