I can't believe I woke up at 5am on a bloody Saturday! I didn't even set an alarm I just woke up, but thought since I'm awake I make as well get up. Whenever I snooze the alarm or have another '5 minutes' I always end up waking up feeling groggy and worse than I did when I just woke up naturally.
So I got up, did my morning routine (even the Yoga), and then nipped into Oldham. I needed to take back the waistcoat I wore for my party as the buckle thing at the back had come away from the waistcoat. It's been on my "mind map" list for a while and so starts to niggle me when I know it needs doing. I'm not a big fan of taking things back as I hate complaining but one wear is not acceptable for something to break. Anyway, the guy at the shop was fine and said he will send it off to their tailor and gave me a receipt for it.
Bumped into Amoy from Yum Yums Caribbean cuisine, she's so lovely. I mentioned to her about the big Tavern event I'm wanting to do next year and she said she is defo interested and happy to help too. If you are ever in Oldham I highly recommend the Jerk Chicken and rice.
I also nipped into Primark to get some socks as they have been annoying me since I bought them. I like to have black socks and white socks that are all the same make so its easy to pair them up. The previous ones I go all had different coloured stripes on the tows so it used to annoy me when I couldn't find the right match lol. I've given all my old socks to Kirsty and now my drawer feels zen again lol. Sad as it is having order in my life really does hlep take the stress out of it.
Made some chicken with chopped salad for lunch. I took ages to make the salad all in small bits but it's so much nicer when it's all nice and small and not just chunks of tomato or cucumber etc.
Went to Nic's t 6pm for prinks for her birthday and then headed into Royton.
We started off in Barclays and then which been extended into what was the Tailors next door. Whoever did. the design is really good, as it was spot on. Loads of instagramable places to have pics (which is what people want these days). Took some great pics and a few of them are below. These were earl doors so better phot skills than later lol.
As the drinks started flowing the pics were'nt so Arty lol....
Bumped into Mark Turner, Muz and Leanne Howarth. It was great seeing them as not seen any of them in absolutely ages. Went over to JLR later and then dont even remember getting home :-/ I was really good too I ordered a glass of water on one of the rounds to break up the drinking. Only managed it once though.
Had a great night and did intend to film the first and last drink but only Nic and Kez remembered to do the last drink videos lol.
