Scheduled Day

Last night before I went to bed I blocked out each hour of my day and what area I would be focusing on. I then did a To Do list in my notes app of the three main areas and 3 things I would try and do in those areas.

Having each hour scheduled for the day and what I was going to be doing, helped me not procrastinate the stuff I didn't want to do and also ensured I didn't just spend my day in one area. I had my whole morning routing mapped out but I have already seen a way to improve it for tomorrow and make it flow better. I was taking Bella out for a walk and then coming back to do yoga and feed her. Thinking about it though I am going to do Yoga after I have done my morning routine hour and that way it wakes me up and ready for our walk. I will also feed her as soon as I get up so when we go for our walk she will be more likely to need the loo on our walk and there will be less mess in the garden ;-)

On some of the slots I mapped out I managed to get them done quicker, like clearing my work emails. So rather than do a completely different activity I moved onto other email accounts and worked through them to get up to date.

My Asda shopping delivery arrived at lunch time (which I had scheduled in for around my lunch break lol), so I managed to scan all my shopping, put it away and grab lunch during the hour slot. Luckily the shopping came at the beginning of the hour slot they gave me so it worked perfectly. Made myself a love American deli-style sandwich for lunch, with pastrami, swiss cheese, dill pickle, mustard, cucumber and tomatoes on seeded bread, delish!

Spent the whole day at home which isn't always great as I get bored having hardly any contact with people all day. I did get a lot done though so not all bad.
