Had a bit of a lay in then took Bella out for a long walk so sh would be tired while I am out with mum & Lynne. Lynne came to mine for 12pm so would could have a brew and a brief catch up as it's been forever since we got together. We then picked mum up on the way to Media City in Salford and dropped Bella off at mums as she was going to be staying there tonight anyway so that I can get my packing sorted and also not rushing about in the morning when I am on way to the airport.
Managed to park really close to the studios then walked round to the entrance where it was all very organised and you got a wristband on entry and had to go through security with metal detector and everything.
Once we were in and shown to our seats the warm-up guy kept us entertained while we waited for everything to get sorted for the start of the show. the warm-up guy was really good and had the tough job of keeping us all upbeat all day. I thought it was the filming of the UK Celebrity version of Lingo as that's the one Rupaul does over here. But it was actually the American version with regular couples on and they defo win a lot more in the US than we do over here (no spoilers)
The set was awesome and changed colour schemes with the different parts of the show. It all seemed very well orchestrated. Rupaul was the consummate professional through the whole day and had the director constantly in his ear feeding back what he wanted him to do next. We didn't get finished until just gone 7:30pm which was quite a long day to be sat in one place with no breaks. They should really have sorted a short break part way through for loo breaks and a drink or snacks or something. Quite a few of the audience slopped off early after about 3 hours. I'd only had breakfast then set off to mums so I was absolutely starving by the time we left. Enjoyed it though and didn't feel like Rupaul had a big ego or anything he was really lovely and thanked the audience for their patience a the end.
Mcdonalds on the way home then pretty much straight to be GOOSED!
