I had said while I was away that if my ankle and wrist didn't feel any better when I got home, that I would take myself off to A&E and that's exactly what I did. I rang 111 at 7:30am and explained my situation and after reading through their script and asking all the relevant questions, they suggested I go to A&E.
I got there for 8am and by 10:15am I was on my way home. I was considering leaving after about an hour when a nurse came out and announced that the wait time was about 6 1/2 hours to be seen. Luckily it was nothing like that kind of wait though and I had both my ankle and wrist X-ray'd and thankfully nothing broken. Just a bad sprain on my wrist which can take 2-4 weeks to fully heal and a small fracture on my foot. she said they only have a small window to be able to do anything about it but since I'd been walking around on it the past week and it had already started to heal, I just needed to try and stay off it, elevate it and use a cold compress a few times a day. Easier said than done when you got work to do.
The weather was good all day so I waited until the sun had gone down to take the dogs out for a walk. So I didn't have to do much walking I took them on the field at the bottom of the street so they could run about in the field without me having to walk by their side.
Did my Oral B Toothpaste Review as I have completed my product testing period. Not sure why I seem to be getting a lot of toothpaste to product test at the mo, maybe its because I will have white teeth on the 'after' pics lol.
Over the past few nights, I've been binge-watching episodes of The Umbrella Company, which is all about time travel and trying to save the world from impending doom. It got me thinking about time travel and if there is anything I would go back and change and if future me is reading this and time travel has become possible, I don't think I would change anything. If you go back and change one small event, even something as small as getting up 10 minutes later on a certain day, could change the whole course of your life. You might not bump into someone that you were meant to meet on that day which could have a ripple effect on so many things in your life. So future me, event the thing you regret doing, just leave them be and learn from them.
