Last night a DJ saved my life

Woke up at a reasonable time 7am and decided I was going to be staying in my PJ's today and having a lazy day. Last night was my last gig for the foreseeable unless Scott needs me again. I do love the actual DJ'in especially when it's now and again and not every week.

I managed to get a few washes done and out on the maiden to dry as it was pretty warm outside.

Jay made us both steak with salad and new potatoes with a nice glass of merlot. It's always good to have a catch-up and the weather was still nice so we ate it in his garden. he always makes BIG portions even though he knows I don't eat loads. Well, I say I don't eat lots, I do have a big appetite but I prefer to graze and it little and often, I'm not good with big meals in one sitting. Nothing went to waste though as I put half of mine into a plastic tub for him to have later.

I had already started making something for us for dinner so I thought I would carry on and have it ready for tomorrows dinner to return the favour. I made Chicken Massaman from one of my simply cook boxes that I got stitched up with for forgetting to cancel the subscription when I took advantage of an offer. It was officially beef massaman but I didn't have any beef in so chicken it is. At least that's tomorrow's dinner sorted.

I am supposed to be starting my rise at 5 tomorrow but I'll be honest I don't feel like I have fully committed to it, so we'll see. Still in this funk, not sure why. :-/

In other news (just for the record) Neighbours has finished after 37 years on our TV. I haven't seen the last episode yet but apparently, they brought a load of ex-characters back into it, so I'm defo gonna give it a watch.

Got a text off the animal trust to advise that Bonnie's meds are ready to collect, which has been perfect timing as they are just down to the last few. I'm hoping to make a claim on the pet insurance so it doesn't end up costing me an arm and leg.
