*** 30 Day Photo Challenge ***
Day 22 - Stairs
Bella wouldn't get off the stairs for the photo so I just let her photobomb lol.
Bonnie is still off her food and Bella sometimes just copies her. I am now having to vary their diet and cook everything from sausages, mince beef, and chicken breasts to get Bonnie to eat anything. She has lost weight around her shoulders and back legs yet her stomach is really bloated. It's like she doesn't want to eat cos she doesn't know if she has room for it, maybe she is constipated or something I will try and keep an eye on her when we go out and see if she is doing a number 2 or not (great topic lol).
Kirsty came up to mine so that she is already there for the morning and to help me get everything sorted for the BBQ. It's is meant to be nice tomorrow so fingers crossed it will stay dry as normally you can't rely on the weather in the UK for things like this. I really enjoy spending time with Kirsty now, she has really matured and is great company. It's too easy to keep throwing back in someone's face their past mistakes but you need to give people room to grow and move on and not live in the past. We have already talked about her coming to live with me for a while until she can get her own house sorted through the council. I just don't want it to ruin our relationship now that we are in a good place.
For lunch Kirsy made us our own version of a McDonalds Fillet O' Fish and did us 3 fish fingers, tartare sauce, and a cheese slice on a Warburton's ready sliced bun.Perfect! One thing about me and Kirsty, we would both never go hungry cos we love our food to much lol.
Received another product test through the post, this time it was two products to help treat and alleviate the common cold. You don't need a cold to test them, it is more about the packaging and the application of the product etc. On the plus side I will now have some cold stuff in ready for when one strikes ;-)
I do get a cold now and then and always think if you can try and boost your immune system at the first signs, the symptoms don't last half as long.
I'm loving doing all these market research assignments and product tests, it's good being able to give feedback on new products and try them without forking out for them.
These were sent from a company called Good Sense Research and are part of the good sense community I signed up to. So if you are interested in signing up, just click their link (in red).
Really looking forward to tomorrow cos Paula is over from Dublin and she can't make it to my party. It will also be nice to have time to chat to people in a smaller group as I know from previous parties you literally only get a chance to say hello to someone and then somebody else arrives. I know in the past it has felt like the night has gone by so quickly, so I am going to try and enjoy every minute of it next Friday. If I had my way I would have a party every year as it's important to celebrate every milestone you make it to. I don't think my wallet could manage that though, although I do usually try and at least do something even if it's just going out for a meal with a small group.
I am conscious that we often spend time wishing our lives away. "I can't wait until Friday" "two more months then we go on holiday". I am trying to be more present and enjoy the here and now a lot more. I will organise things to do mid-week rather than always waiting for the weekend and I am trying to cross off as many things from my "Life List" that I can (see seperate blog).
Here's cosmic ordering sunshine for tomorrow ;-)
