Went to a taste test in Manchester for Soba noodles. I am definitely converted. Unlike most pot noodles which end up full of liquid, with these, you pour on boiling water then once cooked empty the water through holes in the lid. you then add a sachet of sauce so the noodles are coated in it and they are similar to the noodle you get in a Chinese takeaway. I've ordered a mixed pack of 8 from Amazon so will let you know my fave :)

Today marks 2 weeks of no alcohol and I can honestly say I am feeling great. No fussy heads for days after a night out, no low moods. All this time I have been trying to find the cause of my depression and blaming external factors like winter or my job. But the main cause has clearly been the fact that I m putting a depressant in my body on a regular basis. I really haven't missed it and have a newfound passion for my work again.
I spent the day emailing out our current supplier list to more accounts that are currently inactive to try and get appointments to see them and get them re-activated. Sometimes you get a lot of replies and others just a couple of bites. Either way, it's a good exercise as when you google the accounts as you work through the list if the email or number doesn't work, you might find the shop is closed. This helps to tidy up our database so we aren't wasting time trying to contact shops that no longer exist.
Drove over to Stockport at tea time to do a focus group about Supermarket Loyalty cards. It was quite a good group and just involved giving our opinions on the various schemes and what rewards etc we find of interest etc.
Once I got home I grabbed a bite to eat, then had a few games on the PS4 with Fi. As I headed up to bed I felt a real sense of contentment as things all seem to be slotting into place. I just find myself doing more and more to become organised and efficient which in itself takes the pressure off as things feel like you are in control.
