Home Sweet Home

Woke up really early but it was that cold I didn't want to get up so I hopped out of bed and put the fire on to warm the room up and got back under the blankets. By the time I got up properly, it was about 10:30am and I thought I would make the bircher muesli I'd had when I went to Sharrons. I had bought the Pret Bircher stuff from Asda when we did a food shop as well as some apple juice, fresh apples and some thick and creamy strawberry yogurts. You can make it with natural yogurt and honey but I thought this would be nicer.

Soaked the muesli in some apple juice first and also added some chopped apple to the bowls then added the yogurt and mixed it all and let it soak in. I think you could probably do this the same as overnight oats if you wanted to.

After breakfast, we gave the caravan a once over so it wasn't a mess the next time anybody came. I don't think we will be going back for a bi until it warms up as it's bloody freezing as the moment and would end up costing a fortune in gas having the fire on constantly.

On the way home I think I may have copped for a speeding ticket as I was going about 50 as it was a dual carriageway and it was only when I saw the police van parked up on the opposite side of the road and noticed it had it's window thing ope at the back that I realised I should have been doing 30 :-/. I'm just hoping it was pointing down the other side of the road that it was parked on to catch people coming towards it. Fingers crossed.

Apart from that got home okay and dropped the bird off at mums then carried on home to mine. Bella was pleased to see me which is always a nice feeling. I don't half miss her even if it's only for a few days, she gets really excited when I walk in, bless her.

After a quick unpack I made us all some chicken and mushroom pasta in a mushroom sauce and added some veggies to make it a bit healthier. It wasn't my finest dish, I wish I had made the sauce myself instead of using the jar of mushroom pasta sauce I bought as it tasted too mushroomy (if that's a word). It looks like there isn't any sauce on it in that pic but it was all stirred in.

I just managed to snap a pic of mum and Bella acting out the scene from Lady and the Tramp with the spaghetti, but with a strawberry lace instead lol. You can't have anything without Bella wanting some lol.

After dinner I dropped mum and Kirsty off at mums and then headed home. I was hoping to have a few games of Warzone with Fi but she has to be up at 3am tomorrow so we didn't play :-(

Watched a bit of telly and then decided to get an early night in my warm bed.

Back to rise at 5 tomorrow :-)
