Had a lie-in until 7am with it being the weekend. I'm trying to do that now so that becomes my weekend routine so I can take advantage of as much of the weekend as possible as well as during the week. I actually woke up feeling in a completely different mood from yesterday and was really optimistic and upbeat. Just proves my point that you don't have to let a bad day spiral into a bad week/month/year/life etc. Sometimes it's just a bad day and every morning when you wake up just imagine you pressed the reset button during the night so you can choose exactly how you want the new today to be and that doesn't have to be a continuation of yesterday.
Nipped to the shop for dog food for the girls while I'm away as mum is dog sitting and my mate is on house sitting duties so my plants will be taken care of too. Dropped the dogs off at mums and then just had time to unbox my first order from the Tiktok shop, I ordered a surprise box of American sweets which are defo my thing. They should have been £10 but you got a discount on your first order so it was just £7 and no postage to pay either. Bargain!
Lots of nice stuff including a watermelon juice drink, savoury cheese snacks made with real cheese and lots of chewy candy. I love anything grape flavour so this was first on my scran list.
Straight after I had eaten a few of the small things out of my box I quickly got ready and got a taxi over to The Diggle Hotel for Kaths Birthday.
There were quite a few people there that I knew so it was a good afternoon. Which (despite saying to myself I wouldn't stay out too long) soon turned into a good night. My gorgeous friend Jackie has Studios on the beach in Bali Crete and my mum and Kirsty have already booked for us to go in May next year for our birthdays. Anyway long story short a few people that were there also had planned to go see Jackie & George so a few have booked the same dates and I think we have booked all the studios apart from two lol.
I did do a video message from sober Neil before I left the house to drunk Neil to tell him NOT to turn the afternoon into a night out BUT drunk Neil didn't even remember to watch the video lol.
We did Karaoke which is usually my regular song "Down to Earth" but Curiosity Killed the Cat also did a new one that someone else put in for me "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel.
As for the rest of the night, I couldn't really give you a blow by blow account as it's usually a blur from KAraoke onwards. I remember we did a few jagerbombs in the commercial con club (where the Karaoke is) and the rest as they say is history.
