Flowers, Clouds and Gifts

Woke up bright and breezy, did my morning routine and then went out into the fresh air to take Bella for her early morning walk. She often like to sleep in until later and it seems like she doesn't want to go out, but once she is out she loves it. I decided I would only be on my phone while walking if I see something I want to take a picture of. Otherwise my intention was to be present and not multitask. It was the first time I had noticed the patch of land nearby that had been planted with wildflower seeds. There were so many beautiful flowers in it and I probably walk past them every day but with my head stuck in my phone doing emails or scrolling through social media.

It just shows how much of the world you can miss if you don't look up from your phones and be present. I am going to make a conscious effort not to be on my phone when I am walking about and wait until I get where I am going to check my phone so I can take everything in.

Had a really good appointment at a Garden Centre that had already done a Caroline Gardner gift top-up and wanted to do 3 of my card companies. They had two of the gondola displays dedicated just to CG gifts which is always nice to see.

I love it when a company really buys into a range and makes a big splash with it, because it always does so much better when it makes a bigger impact. I could just do with some more big accounts like this that have the space to go big with a display.

When I got home it was like looking at two different days when I looked up and down the street. One end looked like a winter dark with dark black clouds, while the other looked like a summer's day. Very odd.

Made sure I had an early night so I wouldn't wake up knackered.
