It was another admin day at home. Thankfully next week looks a bit better for appointments. I find when I have spent too many days at home with my own company, that I can't wait to get out and about around people. I'm not good at spending days on my own in my home office, it starts to get me down.
We had our quarterly update with Caroline Gardner to run through how were are doing so far and also give us a sneak preview of the new stuff that's coming up next year. It looks like it's gonna be a busy one next year if the new stuff is anything to go by. It's all top secret but I'm really looking forwrd to getting started with it.
Made myself a fillet steak dinner with crushed new potatoes and veg with a peppecorn sauce, since I've cooked something good for myself for ages. Not gonna lie it was gorgeous and the steak just melted in the mouth.
We had a tavern zoom cos we've not had one for ages and there are a lot of projects that we need managing. It's been getting on top of me a lot trying to juggle everything so on the zoom I asked for people to take the lead on the various work-streams we have going on that need working on. It felt much better knowing everyone was onboard and all the different things were being worked on simultaneously rather than us only focusing on one project at a time. All the team were really keen to take on extra things and it really lifted a weight off my shoulders.
IU came off the phone feeling reinvigorated again about the forthcoming projects we are working on behind the scenes. One of which is quite a big one and top secret for now. ;-)
