Dental Veneers - What Do They Do?

I thought I might as well see what is involved in the last procedure I'm having. I have been advised that the clinic charges the same price for dental veneers and crowns. With that in mind, I would rather have crowns so the whole tooth is covered.

Imagine this procedure but times 20 teeth (10 top and 10 bottom). I think I might be there a while :-/
