Woke up at 9.30am for breakfast or pancakes with Jam, tea and coffee. As you can see we kept our room really tidy lol.
We were picked up at 12pm to go for 2 hours on snow mobiles. Me and Phil had to share one which made it hard to get up hills and Phil had to push it at one hill. It was a bit hairy at times as the ground was pretty uneven and they were very heavy to steer. We toppled over on ours twice, one when I was driving and once when Phil was.
The reason we toppled over when Phil was driving was because he was showing off and trying to have one ski on the path tp the left and one on the path to the right (different heights) so it made us fall over. I wasn't impressed and was nagging him, only for me to topple it over when I was driving (mine was an accident though lol). You can her me moaning on the video below lol.
After the snow mobiles we headed back to the house for lunch. Today it was home made vegetable soup and some local fish, then tea and coffee and more of the buns we had yesterday.
Straight after lunch we made our way to the church up the hill where we were picked up to take us to the husky dog place. We were out on the Husky dogs for about half an hour each which was probably long enough as it was snowing and bitterly cold blowing in your face. We started off sat in the sled but then part way round the guide swapped places with us and we stood on the rails at the back and had to keep the balance of the sled as we went round corner and over bumps. All the way round I just kept praying I wouldn’t fall off and look stupid lol. We just had time to have a quick rest before it was 6pm and Banya time again.
Dinner was at 8pm after we’d all got washed up. It was rice with a few bits of carrot and onion in it and some spices, with some tough meat. The side dish was slices of tomato with cheesy coleslaw on. Then we had the usual tea/coffee and buns with jam. We leave here in the morning and head back to Irkutsk for one night at another homestay and a chance to see the city.
