Well we well and truly made the most of last night and both woke up not really in the mood for checking out at 11am :-/
We went to reception and for €10 each we could keep the room until 3pm and also keep the bands on for the all-inclusive. No brainer really, so we went back to bed and stayed in the room until 1:30pm cos we were both starving. Got some lunch and then packed up and left the bags in the reception so we could just chill around the pool.
We had our last meal o ver at Bamba which is a nice little restaurant over the road from our accommodation ( I forgot to take any pics as we had no way to charge our phones and needed it for the airport to keep in touch.
Pretty much after dinner it was time to head to the airport. Goodbye Lanzarote it's been a blast. My flight was 8:20pm and Layla's wasn't for another hour after but it was just easier to both go to the airport at the same time.
We said our goodbyes when I had to head to my gate, only to find the flight was delayed for an hour as there was a technical problem. Anyway long story short that problem needed a spare part whivh wasn't available. So the flight would not now depart until 12pm tomorrow. To be fair to Jet2 they were on top of it all and by 10pm we were collecting our luggage and heading for transfer coaches to the hotels we would stay in for the night. We were all in different hotels, mine was. called Dream and was a 5 star hotel.
When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of Cava and check-in was mega quick and efficient. I headed to my room to find I had been put in a Prefered Club room with an ocean view. Very Nice! It had two bathrooms, two toilets, a sofa and 2 huge TV's one in the lounger part and one in the bedroom. There were two mini bars fully stocked (all complimentary) and a coffee machine with Nespresso pods.
By the time I had showered and taken photos of everything it was quite later so I hit the sack and set my alarm for 6:30am as we weren't sure what time pick up was yet.
