Didn't get up until 8:30am, another failed morning! I worked in my office but still in my PJ's which is never a good move as you never fully feel as productive when you haven't made the effort to get fully dressed.
When I went outside to empty my postbox it was a lovely sunny day and just being outside in the fresh air even for just that few seconds made my mood lift already. Not having the dogs here has meant that I wasn't getting outside amongst nature first thing in the morning to start my day off on a positive note. Not only that I think the companionship of having my dogs with me also helps cheers me up.
Watched a program on TV about how to cut your bills and it made me start to think about ways I should try and reduce my bills, so I decided to put a wash on so I can get in the garden and peg out my washing, while it was sunny.
The weather was up and down all day and flickering from grey and overcast to bright and sunny but luckily it stayed dry and didn't rain so my washing dried fine and for free ;-)
Went and collected the dogs from mums nd treated myself to fillet steak for dinner. Why not.
This week we will be booking our first night's accommodation for when we arrive into Bali. We are looking to book a nice property with an infinity pool and book a floating breakfast so we can start our visit with a bit of luxury before we get stuck into the volunteer work. I've never stayed in a hotel with an infinity pool and it's one of the things in my 'life list' book so it will be good to get to do it. The floating breakfasts look amazing with lots of fresh fruit. Accommodation in Bali isn't very expensive for the high standard and stunning views so what better place to experience it.
I also need to order my own fins and snorkel mask so that I can start to get used to them and not keep using different ones each time I go away. I can take them on any trips with me then in case I want to do a dive.
