Rise at 5 and feeling alive!
It was supposed to be snowing and horrible today but I woke up to a regular day and by the time I had done most of my morning routine and Yoga with Layla, it was glorious blue skies. I took Bella to the park where I could let her off the lead before any other dog walkers came by. I even took myself back to my childhood and had a go on the swings lol. We don't give ourselves time to be daft as we get older but I thought stuff it I want to swing. I can't remember the last time I properly swung like a kid, kicking my legs out. I'm not counting the jungle swing in Bali as that wasn't the same. that wasn't a childhood swing that was me being launched over the jungle at great speed and gripping on for dear life lol.
I headed over to Scorton to one of my accounts called The Barn. Had a productive day getting a few every day orders in and some Christmas ones too. It feels like I'm back in front with work and I'm loving reactivating some old accounts. Bella likes coming to work with me cos she gets lots of walks in between appointments. I had her wrapped up in a blanket when we set off but ended up having the windows open for her as the sun was so warm (even though my hands were like ice lol).
On the way back the opposite side of the motorway was backed up for ages. It had been busy coming as there had been an accident which through all my timings off for the day. Spoke to Lynne who was stuck in said traffic so felt lucky I was going the opposite way home. I was goosed by the time I got home so pretty much just processed my orders and then watched a bit of TV.
Bella is not impressed with the new food options, she ate a bit of her dinner but I hd to top it up with some tinned tuna to entice her. I think she is going to be a struggle but I have to stick with it as it's for her own good. :-/
I planted out the bulb I bought the other day into the window troughs at the front but I think I'm going to have to by new linings for them as they are all rotten. Also planning to dig our the planters at the front, put in more soil and get them planted up with bulbs and some new plants for the summer. All needed painting too as soon as it's dry and not baltic cold.
