Despite the late-night, I was awake at 7am and felt fine. Usually, after nights out I'm just tired more than anything so I watched a bit if TV and then did an online food shop to be delivered tomorrow to save time.
I started a fitness challenge with Becky on our apple watches so we can see how well each of us are doing. Cos I was out last night and dancing, walking about etc until past midnight I managed to beat Becky on Day 1. Today was a different story though as I had spent most of the day on the sofa, where Becky must have been a lot more active.
Andy and Becky called down for a brew in the afternoon and then before you know it we were going up to theirs for a BBQ for dinner.
I stook to red wine and coke but then Becky wanted us to have shots of toffee apple gin. What can I say I'm just easily lead lol. So we had a couple :-/
I will still way behind on my move ring( the outside red one) which works out our calories burned and is linked to your steps. So I made the decision to walk home. It was a nice night and dry so did me good to burn off some of the calories from the weekend. Also bumped into this lovely animal on the way home. He came over to me when I called him and let me pet him for ages bless him.
Oh and not only did I beat Becky on points but by the time I got home I had managed to close all 3 of my rings. Was well chuffed with myself :-) Let's see if I can keep up this momentum and try and close them all tomorrow too. I'm not very good at being active so I'm hoping my watch nagging me every hour will help me pick up the pace. Plus I now have Becky to push me if I see she is way ahead of me lol.
Up early tomorrow for work.
