Woke up with the birds and the sun streaming through the window and it looks like another gorgeous day.
Me and Layla did our Yoga with Tim after we'd had a coffee (herbal tea for Layla). His Yoga is a bit more strenuous than the 30-day one we did with Adrienne and you really feel youve done a workout by the end of it. I'm looking forward to stretching muscles I never knew I had and making morning yoga an integral part of my morning routine. This would then be one more thing I have managed to stick to. We had brown toast with wilted spinach and poached eggs for breakfast (very healthy).
We had been chatting last night about her planned trip to Bali as it really sounded like something I would love to do. She is going out for 4 weeks to do coral reef conservation building artificial reef section and than putting them into the see to join up parts of the reef that have been destroyed, in order to encourage marine life. There is also some beach clean-up work to remove the plastic that has been washed up onto the beach etc. I really want to start more holidays that are also giving something back at the same time. So we started looking at dates and flights for me to go out with her for the first two weeks and then once she has got into the routine and knows people etc I wil;l come home and she can stay another 2 weeks. I've sent off my application to the company in North Bali and asked if they are able to accommodate us both for the dates we want. Fingers crossed they say yes and we can both just get our flights booked so it will actually happen.
I really wanted to see if the reason the hot tub isn't working is because I have overfilled it so I got the pump out of the shed and drained some of the water into the green recycling bin and then emptied that into the drains out on the street. After emptying quite a bit I switched it back on and it did make the sound it usually makes when it's heating up, so we will see if it's hot tomorrow. It usually takes a full 24 hours to heat up so fingers crossed it's working and then all I need to fix is the lights so it's nice a colourful at night.
I recently got into product testing and surveys etc and already I have received lots of products for free to try and give feedback on. I mean who doesn't love a freebie? But also you get to try stuff that you might otherwise not have considered buying.
The latest one I have just received is Colgate Max White Ultra toothpaste. As my teeth are already quite white I will do a test simultaneously with my sister at the same time so hopefully, the results will be more obvious.
It was such a nice day we decided to have a BBQ for dinner so Kirsty and Layla nipped to the shop for some bits and picked mum up so she could join us for dinner and not be sat at home on her own. It was a lovely afternoon, we had some chicken wings and thighs marinated, salad, and some fruit kebabs. I even had to put suncream on today as I burnt my face yesterday and was only sitting outside for a bit.
Off to Lytham tomorrow and then hopefully when I get back I might be able to have a dip in the hot tub before I go over to look after Rachels dogs :-)
