Bonnie's stomach is still pretty swollen and she barely touched her breakfast so I had to syringe her med into her mouth again. It's not ideal as she isn't really keen but I'd rather her be a grump for a few minutes and be healthy than not. When I took her for a walk she was waddling from side to side with her big belly and walking dead slow.
We booked our first night's accommodation for when we arrive in Bali. We wanted to pick somewhere that ticked all the boxes for what both Layla and I wanted from the hotel. We eventually settled on a property in Ubud that had the luxury element but also the character and jungle. Here are some pics of the hotel:-
If the property is anything like these pics I am going to be SOOOOO impressed. I can't wait now as the more we get sorted the more real it feels that we are actually going. I emailed the
guys at The North Bali Reef Conservation Project to let them know our flight details and the hotel we would need picking up from.
My flippers, snorkel and mask arrived so I've pretty much got everything I need now for the trip. I wanted to have my own fins and mask etc so that I get used to them and can take them on all my holidays in case I am able to do a dive there. I obviously went for a butch colour to show my masculinity hahahaha.
I just need to get some bits of stuff like Diarrhea tablets in case either of us gets Bali Belly (I've heard that's a thing lol) Also some high-factor sunscreen that's water resistant in case it's really hot and we are in the water a lot. The last thing I want is to end up getting burnt and spoiling my experience.
