After my blip yesterday I got straight back on the horse and woke up at 5am again this morning. I used to be one of those people who would think "might as well start again on Monday" but now I realise you can make a start on anything any day of the week, you don't need to waste time waiting for next week, next month, the new year. you can make positive changes at any point, even the next hour!
Did my usual morning routine minus the yoga as my wrist is still giving me problems. I did a few lazy pressups to test it out (the ones where you have you knees bent) and I still couldn't put a lot of weight on my left wrist. Never had an injury drag on so much, even my ankle seems to have healed quicker.
Speaking of Kwik (spelt that way on purpose) I started listening to a youtube interview with Jim Kwik and wanted to take it out with me while I walked the dogs. He's a specialist in the brain and how we can make it more efficient and remember things better etc. I thought to myself "I should buy some airpods so I can listen to it on my walk". I would normally go online and order some but I stopped myself as I am trying not to spend money on stuff needlessly. I nipped up to the office and remembered I had a pair of bose headphones. I opened the case and to my joy, I remembered to put the wire and also an adaptor to convert the jack into a lightning cable. When I start using these on a regular basis THEN it might be worth investing in some airpods just because they aren't so bulky. But I am going to try and stop buying things on a whim that doesn't last.

In other news. DON'T buy Goodboy Wagtastic Chewy Chicken Twists if you don't like your dog to have rawhide! I usually buy the chicken and carrot ones which my dogs like but this time whilst shopping I say the ones that appeared to be just chicken. The front packet just says chewy chicken twist and the wording says "lovingly made with 100% chicken breast". Now the key word here is WITH and not made FROM, which is only one word but means a whole lot of difference. What they mean is where they use chicken it will be 100% chicken breast. NOT that the whole thing is made FROM 100% chicken breast.
Anyway unbeknown to me I was giving my dogs a treat with rawhide in it (which I never do because Bonnie nearly choked on rawhide chew when she was younger). 5/10 minutes into the chomping and Bella started coughing like she had something stuck. I looked and saw this chewed-up thing sticking out of her mouth and immediately knew it was rawhide. I had to literally prise her mouth open and pull it from her and out came this long unraveled piece that had been half down her throat. I am SO angry. When I looked on the back it had 60-% chicken and 30% rawhide. How come when it's with carrot they are happy to mention it because it sounds nice and healthy yet when 30% of it is rawhide they are allowed to forget to mention this? Disgusted with them and won't buy these again. I will even look for something else to buy instead of the chicken and carrot ones to boycot them.
I intend to take the pack bak to tesco and ask for either a refund or an exchange. I know it's not their fault as they don't make them but they need to know what they are stocking and how misleading and potentially dangerous they are.
If this was human food surely they would not be able to advertise something as Cheese pie if 30% of it was onion? Wouldn't they have to call it cheese & onion?
