Monday would normally be a day I hate s I would have been out at the weekend and probably drank wine or gin and no doubt had some shots. My weekend in Wiltshire was nothing like how I usually spend the weekend. Instead, it was crammed with more living and being present. I sketched and watercolour painted (well kinda lol) which is something I probably haven't done in over 20 years. Granted it wasn't a masterpiece or anything but it was nice to just indulge my inner child and be free to draw etc. I played a new board game and took lots of pics to capture the memories for posterity.
I've missed taking and editing pics as I tend to only bother doing it when I go somewhere specific on holiday etc. However, we are surrounded by views that are photo-worthy every day we just tend to be oblivious to them. I think I might start another 30-day photo challenge for March, to encourage me to be aware of the things around me. I will work on a template for the month tomorrow of things to photograph and see if other people want to join in. It is nice to have a focus for the month as it makes you take more opportunities to do things etc.
Also, I know there is no way I will remember to count all the exact weeks I have been alcohol-free so I am just going to count the rest of Feb as still my one month and then just record each full month so the last day of the month will be the milestone. It's just easier to remember and also means I will have actually been alcohol free longer than I am saying which is fine.
Went to a flapjack taste testing this morning and was meant to have a KFC chicken burger one at lunchtime but it got canceled. So instead Me and Rachel spent the afternoon on a Zoom call going through the changes I have made to Salesforce and how we can use them to make us both more productive and increase our customers and hopefully in turn our income. I can tell Rachel isn't a fan as she likes to work with a paper diary for her appointments but it's important for us to both work the same way and use technology so one of us is able to pick up the others work and carry on should either of us be off sick etc.
Took Bella for a walk and I've never noticed this sign before. Luckily there was not bull in the field though as she was already exploring the field when I noticed lol. It would have been nice to see a bull to be fair. Speaking of which I am going to add to my book that I want to visit an Alpaca or Llama place as they are meant to be really calm animals and theraputic.
Had a few games after dinner on the PS4 with Fi and we had a good few games and ended in a good position ready for our next session :-)
In the next few days I will get my 5 activities for March from Buckt, so can't wait to see what they have in store for me. Which reminds me I need to book the indoor skydive that Kirsty bought me for Christmas.
