Took the dogs out for a run early in the morning while it was still mild. We really are never happy in this country because we never get nice weather and then as soon as there are a few hot days we start moaning about it being too warm. I just try and embrace it now cos if we get a few nice days then it's good to just take off somewhere if you can or get out in the sun. Then when it rains the next day, where I used to feel fed up cos it was raining, now I just look at the positive that it will give the garden a good watering for me. Saw this single flower just sitting there on its own in the middle of the path I walk and normally wouldn't notice it because I've got my head in my phone. Now I only use my phone to take photos when I'm walking so I can take in all that nature has to offer.
Did a wash and then realised the catch on the dryer door isn't working so for the first time since I've had it I had to get the maiden out in the back garden to dry the washing. Putting it up was simple, but trying to take it down when the washing was dry was like trying to fold up a deck chair on Blackpool beach.
Andy Lee asked me to DJ with him at a prom for a special needs school and it was probably one of the easiest gigs I've done in a long time. The guys were so lovely, they all wanted requests and were dancing as soon as the first record went on.
Andy did a set then it was background music while they had the buffet. he did a second set and then I literally DJ'd for 45. minutes cos the night had to end at 10pm.
Cos it was such a nice night and still quite light Andy dropped his gear off at home and then picked up Becky, Ryan and Neve and we had an hour in the hot tub with a few red wine and cokes. It was just nice to chill and get together after we'd finished. Becky didn't get but I didn't think she would, as it's a bit different for a woman to just whip their top off and get in the hot tub like fellas do.
We took things indoors at about 12am as I didn't want the neighbours being miffed as it can be quite loud when there re a few in the hot tub cos you are all shouting over the bubbles.
