I was meant to have an appointment at Raffia but my foot is still so sore I messaged Charlotte to see if we can do her Caroline Gardner order at the Harrogate trade show next weekend.
Mum was staying in Wales until tomorrow so I had to take the dogs down to hers and Gillian is going to let them out tonight and before bed then again in the morning until mum get's home.
As soon as I packed up the bird and dropped all the pets at mums, I headed over to Sammy's as she was going to drive to Abersoch. I just had time to see the sheep and the new baby lamb, who was now 4 weeks old, which felt quite appropriate since we were going to Wales lol.
The journey took us just under 3 hours but I think that was a lot to do with it being a Friday and the world and his wife heading off to wales on their holidays. We kept in contact with Kelly along the way so they knew what time we were gong to arrive and they could start the BBQ for dinner.
By the time we got to the campsite, it was bout 8:30pm and the BBQ was already cooked and ready to serve. The caravan was lovely with a big awning on the side which doubles the size.
We had a few drinks after the BBQ and then had an early-ish night after chatting for a bit with Ashley and Jess when they got in from Abersoch. Ashley came in sounding like Bonnie Tyler for the first 10 minutes as her voice had gone from being out but when it recovered both her and Jess were really well spoken (especially compared to me and Sammy). In fact, no Sammy makes me sound posh lol. Kelly has picked up a posh twang now she lives in Cheshire but Sammy is still as Oldham as the Tubigrip bandage lol.
The girls had been out on the boat all day and then gone out for drinks into Abersoch. The pics looked great on the boat, so I added a bit of an effect to it so it looked like a Hed Kandi CD cover lol.
We stayed up until about 1am chatting before deciding it was time to hit the sleeping bag.
