Spent most of the day chilling out at the hostel and getting my washing done ready for when we go on our road trip so I have all clean clothes to go with. Had a walk over to the shopping centre and got my hair cut for $18 and got some lunch.
Leti had an interview with a woman about an au-pair job in Cairns for 3 months so while she was having the interview with her me and Flo went window shopping for a bit. I also bought a hair shaver to take with me on the rest of my trip as it was only $14 from target so if I only use it for one hair cut its paid for itself.
Didn't do much all day except for laze around the hostel and relax as it was too hot to do anything. A girl came into the room who was on the bunk below me, she was from Rochdale lol small world. She had a really infectious personality and we talked none stop for about 30 minutes. Flo and Leti just sat on their laptops looking bemused at how much we could yap. I felt like I had know her ages she was a really open and bubbly person and we talked about everything. I even added her on facebook and said when she gets back to Rochdale to let me know and we will go for a drink.
We went to the Woolshed as usual but upgraded our meals to something better. I had honey n mustard chicken with chips and veg and the girls shared a borritto thing. We only stayed for one drink and then headed back to the hostel as we were all a bit knackered.
When we got back to the room Hayley and the Ozzy guy in one of the other bunks were both already asleep so we had to creep around using a torch rather then putting the lights on. Flo had wanted to pack her sucksack for the morning but it was a bit hard in the dark so ended up just having a shower and leaving it to sort out in the morning.
