Another Scorching Day with no breeze. I've ordered two cooling mats for the girls to see if I can keep them cool in this heat. They probably won't bloody lie on them thought they never do with anything like that.
Finished the setup of Serendipity House on the tavern directory so it's all ready to go live tomorrow when we make the announcement. I typed up this blog post retrospectively as I didn't want to post about it when we hadn't announced it yet.
Mum and Kirsty stayed at mine so I made us all a poke bowl for lunch with tuna and the large looky likey king prawn things. Kind of made lime crab sticks are with chopped and shaped fish of some sort. I added chopped grapes and orange segments which Kirsty wasn't sure about it but once she tried it she could see why as it adds a different dimension to it and gives it a nice freshness for summer lunch.
Mum & Kirstys stayed at mine so that mum could come with me tomorrow to The Barn in Scorton. It's a great account and a nice day out for her too.
