Straight after breakfast, I headed off to the gym for my first training session in about 2 years. I had suspended my membership for the past 6 months since I hadn't been going I thought I might as well pay a bit less each month. I didn't go made and spend hours in the gym pumping iron a it was my first time back so just did an hour and combined some light chest and triceps with some cardio.
Downloaded a Free Calorie Counting app that I have found useful for when I am putting my meals together so I know I am sticking to the 600 calories. Here s pic of the app if it's of use to others. you can either search for ingredients or scan the bar code of a product and then just select eg 1 x slice for bread or whatever. It saves messing about weighing stuff. For dinner I had the almost the same dinner I had early in the week, but I loved it so thought why not. I have included below a screenshot of the ingredients so you can see how easy the app is for tracking what you are having.
For some reason, today was the first day I had struggled a bit and had a craving for something sweet. I think it was more because I had more time on my hand (hence the pic, get it) to think about food. When I have been busy during the week I haven't really had the spare time to think about it. When I am sat at home at night on a weekend watching TV it just seems a habit to go grab something from the fridge or some crisps and chocolate. I have needed a little more willpower today than the other days. when I've had a craving or urge I have got up and done some cleaning or got a glass or water and it usually passes in about 10 mins or so.
On the home stretch now just 3 more days to do. :-)
