Had a lie n after the very long day yesterday at Alton Towers and got up at about 10am so that I could get showered and ready for 12:30pm when Jenna and Becky came round. I nipped to the shop for a loaf cos Jenna needed to have something to line her stomach or she would be more wild than normal lol. Also got her some antihistamines as she has allergies and we would be on a field so best to be prepared.
It was a really good line-up and even though we didn't get there until just after 2pm, we didn't miss Culture Club as they had switched around the first two acts, which I was glad about. We met Adele & Mike and her mates on the festival and they had managed to get a good cpot right in the centre of the grounds on a hard flooring so we didn\t need blankets etc.
Saw quite a few taverners at the event and I had taken my new Tavern TV microphone that plugs into my iphone. I interviewed a few taverners but didn't realise how loud the sound would be on the mic so it all sounded quite distorted, which I'm gutted about, but as the event went on the interviews got more and more drunken so it might be a blessing lol.
Jo-Anne Ainsley was there who I've known since we were kids, so it was great seeing her. The event finished at 9:30pm but I didn't make it that long and came home around 8:30pm as I'd had enough and needed my bed.
