Whilst on my last holiday I had a realisation that I was not happy with my weight and how my body looked. I wouldn't join in some of the activities because I didn't want to have to take off my T-Shirt. Normally I can 'breathe in the fat' and I often joke that I don't breathe out from the minute I leave the front door until the minute I get back home lol. So I decided to start a 24 day shred. This consists of 2 programs, one being the 9 Day kickstart and the other being the 15 Day Program. I know the 9 Day program isn't a long-term solution as it wouldn't be sustainable, but you then move onto the 15 Day program which then has more flexibility and you eat more sensible meals. This would hopefully stop be slipping back into my bad habits and get me back n the healthy cooking train :-)
Needless to say whilst on an All-Inclusive I have eaten anything that wasn't moving fast enough to get out of my way. Over Indulged is an understatement. So I have started my 24 Day shred.
Well to be completely honest the first day has not been as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was expecting to be starving hungry all day but I haven't really noticed. For breakfast, I had the 2 Garcinia Gels and a handful of blueberries. Not exactly the feast I am used to but I had already mentally prepared myself for the road ahead so just took my tablets and savored the blueberries. I would normally just wolf things down but as I knew this was going to be a very limited breakfast I thought I might as well make the most of it
You drink a lot of the Aloe Gel which the first shot wasn't particularly pleasant to drink but by the second and third it wasn't so bad.
I'm not gonna lie I didn't read the instructions properly at first and thought the only food I could have for breakfast with my tablets was the Free vegetables which was broccoli. Turns out I could have the other stuff on the page which included fruits (phew).
There are various fruits and vegetables that you can have during the 9 Day stage so I took myself out to Aldi to buy lots of the things on the list.
I decided to make some soups so I had some tasty things to have to eat instead of cheating and eating something I shouldn't, cos I am determined to stick to this. Hopefully, by the time I have done my 24-day shred I will be used to eating healthy meals and will find it easier to stick to it.
So that's Day 1 complete, let's hope tomorrow is just as easy. :-)
